Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made six ambulance runs on Tuesday. Firefighters checked on an address after a carbon monoxide detector was activated but found nothing. A fire call to the 200 block of West Barton County Road at 2:08 p.m. was canceled while the firefighters were en route.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:29 a.m. Tuesday at 405 Elm St.

A traffic arrest was made around 4:37 a.m. at an undisclosed location. A juvenile was booked into the Barton County Jail.

A search warrant was executed at 11:44 a.m. at 1214 Madison St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:25 p.m. at 1028 Garfield St.

The theft of a wallet from the residence at 1444 16th St. was reported.

A non-injury crash was reported at 7:58 p.m. at 10th and Harrison.

Found property left at a doorstep in town was turned over to police. Items included tools and an Xbox.
