A minor injury crash was reported at 7 p.m. Friday at West U.S. 56 and Railroad Ave., Great Bend. The Great Bend Police Department assisted with traffic control.

Police K-9 Menta and handler were dispatched to assist the Barton County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop at 1:03 a.m. Friday in the 500 block of NW 30 Ave. Eliseo Velasco Jr., 32, of Great Bend, was booked released from the county jail after posting bond.
A sex offense was reported at 12:11 p.m. Friday.
Great Bend residents on Chestnut Street reported someone using their financial cards without permission.
A non-injury crash was reported at 5:02 p.m. Friday at 24th and McKinley.

Theft of a cellphone was reported at 1308 Morphy St.
A report of a structure fire at 11:31 p.m. Friday in the 3700 block of 22nd St. was a false alarm.
Someone damaged a gate behind a residence at 2608 Coronado Ave., it was reported Saturday.
Police received reports of attempted scam phone calls but said there was no actual loss.
A sex offense was reported at 2:44 p.m. Saturday.
Theft of a black 18-foot utility trailer with a side and back ramp was reported at 12:03 p.m. Sunday at 5004 8th St.
Theft of license tag KS 712NDM was reported at Sommerset Apartments, 5803 16th St. Terrace Apt. C7.
Theft of a debit card was reported Sunday evening. Someone attempted to use it at a Kwik Shop but the card had been canceled.
Police were called to a disturbance at 8:52 p.m. Sunday at Travel Lodge, 3200 10th St., where a male and female were arguing. Shawn Berton Jr. was arrested for aggravated battery (domestic violence).
Fireworks were reported “directly after the NFL game,” around 9:-6 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of 20th St.
