Great Bend Fire/EMS

A ditch fire was reported at 4:17 p.m. Monday at 102 NW 20 Ave. Firefighters also responded to a report of a smoke smell at 4:26 p.m. at Pathways Rescare, 2317 Washington St.

Emergency Medical Service made five ambulance runs on Monday.



Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported Monday at Tourner Racing, 206 North U.S. 281, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:11 a.m. at Railroad Ave. and Washington, Great Bend.

A fire was reported at 2:11 p.m. at NE 70 Road and NE 120 Ave., Claflin.

A fire was reported at 4:18 p.m. at 102 NW 20 Ave., Great Bend.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury hit-and-run was reported Monday at Walmart.

A burglary was reported at 2612 21st St. Someone damaged the door on the residence. A backpack found in the back yard was booked as evidence.

An individual reported someone taking money out of his account at Credit Union of America, 4708 10th St.

Two dogs were fighting Monday afternoon in the back yard of 1806 Holland St. The humane society responded.

Callers had questions about scam phone calls.

A theft was reported at 2501 12th St.
