Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service responded to eight calls Tuesday and one call that was canceled while the unit was en route.

Power lines were down in the 4200 block of 10th St. at 8:38 a.m.

Grass and trees were on fire at 2:44 p.m. at SW 50 Road and NW 10 Ave. There was a false alarm at 7:52 p.m. at 3015 Broadway Ave.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:27 a.m. Tuesday at NE 160 Road and NE 130 Ave., Claflin.

A fire was reported at 5:23 p.m. at 750 East K-4, Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:31 p.m. at Outer Limits Liquor & Storage, 31 NE 30 Road, Great Bend.

A fire was reported at 7:14 p.m. at NW 140 Ave. and NW 80 Road in Barton County.


Great Bend Police

Theft of a lawn mower was reported Tuesday at 5520 Comanche Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:56 p.m. in the 1000 block of Frey Street.

A sex offense was reported.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:40 p.m. at 10th and Kansas.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:23 p.m. at 10th and the U.S. 281 Bypass.

An injury crash was reported at 7 p.m. at Broadway and McKinley.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:34 p.m. at 8th and McKinley.
