Monday, they responded to eight Emergency Medical Services calls and one smoke detector malfunction.

Great Bend Street Department reported a hit-and-run crash involving a street light in the 1600 block of Main Street at 1:18 p.m. Monday.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:07 p.m. Monday at 10th Street and McKinley Street.

A non-injury crash was reported at 8:05 p.m. Monday at Hejny Liquor, 821 Main St.


Barton County Sheriff

A possible structure fire was reported at 8:40 a.m. Monday at 325 College View Dr.

An injury crash was reported at 1:28 p.m. Monday at U.S. 281 and NE 30 Road.

An injury crash was reported at 3:09 p.m. Monday at 330 E. U.S. 56, Great Bend.

A battery was reported at 10:47 p.m. Monday at the Barton County Detention Center.
