Great Bend Police

Criminal damage was reported at the Great Bend High School Panther Activity Center at 7:53 a.m. Wednesday.

Walmart employees reported two juveniles stealing items from the store Wednesday morning. Parents were contacted.

Great Bend Middle School reported a student making threats against an administrator Wednesday morning.

Theft of a handicap placard was reported at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday at 5501 9th St., Unit 22.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop at Forest and Monroe at 2:58 p.m. Wednesday. 

A fight was reported at Great Bend High School at 3:11 p.m. Wednesday.

Theft of gas caps and possible thefts of gasoline from multiple vehicles was reported Wednesday night in the 2800 block of Meadowlark.


Barton County Sheriff

BCSO assisted on a non-injury crash at U.S. 54 and NE 45th Avenue in Pratt County at 6:04 a.m. Wednesday.

Criminal damage was reported at K-156 and K-4 at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday.

A fraud was reported at 3:13 p.m. Wednesday at 966 NW 70 Rd., Olmitz.

A theft was reported at the Barton County Courthouse at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday.

The K-9 unit was dispatched to a traffic stop at U.S. 281 mile marker 106 at 7:26 p.m. Wednesday.

A possible fire was reported at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday at NE 30 Road and K-156.
