Great Bend Fire/EMS
Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had nine ambulance runs Friday, 10 Saturday and six Sunday.
On Friday, firefighters responded to a power line down in the 2100 block of 25th St. and at 9:16 a.m. they were called to a storm drain where smoke was coming out in the 2500 block of Russell Parkway. The drain was hosed down.
On Saturday, firefighters had a false alarm and a report of contractors hitting a gas line in the 2400 block of 21st Street at 10 a.m. Kansas Gas Service responded.
No fires were reported Sunday.

A report of an exploding transformer was received at 9:16 a.m. Friday at 2103 25th St. Wheatland Electric responded.
A vehicle burglary not in progress was reported at 12:42 p.m. at A One Automotive, 1201 10th St.
A theft was reported at 12:59 p.m. at Walmart, 3503 10th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 5:20 p.m. at 2500 Seventh St.
Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported at 7:38 p.m. at Walmart.
A vehicle burglary not in progress was reported at 10:32 a.m. Saturday at A One Automotive.
A domestic incident was reported at 5:35 p.m. at 2807 20th St.
A non-injury crash was reported at 7:28 p.m. at Tacos Los Primos, 928 10th St.
A theft was reported at 1:01 a.m. Sunday at 3813 Second St.
A battery was reported at 3:51 a.m. at Expo I, 9810 B-29 Way.
A K-9 callout was utilized on a traffic arrest at 11:16 p.m. at E. U.S. 56 and Kiowa Road.
