Great Bend Fire/EMS

EMS made six ambulance runs Thursday.


Great Bend Police

A non-injury crash was reported at 8th and Morphy at 5:56 a.m. Thursday. 

A non-injury hit-and-run crash  that occurred at an unknown location was reported at 9:11 a.m.

A traffic arrest was made in the 2200 block of 19th Street at 2:54 p.m. 

A report of a narcotics violation was made where officers conducted a traffic stop utilizing a K9 at Railroad Ave. and McKinley St., at 3:05 p.m. 

Officers assisted BCSO on a traffic stop upon an outside agency request at Railroad Ave. and McKinley St. at 3:45 p.m.

A report of fraud was made at 2006 Baker Ave.

A report of battery was made against caregiver at 3910 Cedar Park Place at 5:23 p.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at Casey’s General Store, 1315 10th St., at 7:37 p.m.


Barton County Sheriff 

A report of a narcotics violation was made where officers conducted a traffic stop at Railroad Ave. and McKinley St., at 3:05 p.m. Thursday.
