Great Bend Fire/EMS

Firefighters made nine Emergency Medical Service calls on Tuesday. There was one call to check for a gas leak and one smoke detector malfunction.


Barton County Sheriff

A theft was reported Tuesday at 119 NE 10 Road, Great Bend.

A burglary in progress was reported at 12:53 p.m. at West K-4 and NW 90 Ave. Warrant arrests were made in that vicinity at 2:18 and 3:10 p.m. Another burglary in progress report was made at 3:49 p.m.

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:49 p.m. at SE 30 Ave and SE 30 Road, Ellinwood.

Theft was reported at 9015 8th St. Hangar L, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:14 p.m. at 130 NW 30 Road, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 4:27 p.m. at 1000 SE 30 Road, Ellinwood.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:06 p.m. at K-96 and Patton Road, Great Bend.

A search warrant was executed at 9:24 p.m. at 512 East 4th St., Ellinwood. Officers, including the K-9 unit, were on-scene for nearly three hours.

A non-injury crash was reported at Midwest Energy, 1025 Patton Road.

Fraud was reported at Farmer’s Bank and Trust when a subject used bank account information to pay bills.

Theft was reported at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 24th and Main.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10th Street and McKinley.

Burglary not in progress was reported at 2601 Dry Creek.

A vehicle in a ditch was reported at K-96 and Patton Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1301 10th St.
