Great Bend Police arrested two individuals on narcotics charges Friday afternoon following a search of a Great Bend residence.
According to GBPD reports, at approximately 3 p.m. Friday, members of the GBPD executed a stolen property and narcotics search warrant at 1922 Adams St. After a thorough search of the property, officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, items of controlled substance, and illegal drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
The current resident, Brandon Leon, 26, and another individual identified as Trisha R. Johnson, 42, were located inside the residence at the time of the search and were placed under arrest.
Leon was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Johnson was arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and no drug tax stamp. Both were transported to the Barton County Detention Center where they were booked and confined in lieu of bond.
