When I was a teenager, my skin was absolutely flawless. I got a zit maybe once or twice every six months, and it would only stay for a day or two, then my skin would be back to its normal state.

When I hit college it got a little worse, but it wasnt anything I couldnt handle. Fast forward a couple of years to now Im in my last semester of college and my face is a nightmare. I have zits all over the place and they just keep coming ... and they wont go away.

Ive tried masks, toothpaste, prescriptions and other concoctions, and Im still on a quest to find the perfect remedy. So Ive compiled a list of some of the best skin treatments so you dont have to go through the pain of trying every skin-care routine out there. Here are some of the best ways to get rid of your pimples overnight:

1. Vitamin E

If you have a pimple that just wont go away, break open a capsule of vitamin E (or buy some vitamin E oil) and rub it on your blemish. You can leave it on for 10 minutes or overnight, but the vitamin will keep the area moisturized while reducing any redness and irritation (which is exactly what you're looking for). It can also help unclog pores and prevent breakouts if you use it on a regular basis.

You can also take vitamin E orally as a supplement, but for the best results, youll want to apply the oil directly to your skin. However, you should stop immediately if your skin gets irritated.
