Beyonc and Elton John have a collaboration on the way.

Multiple reports indicate that Beyonc and John will craft a new song to close out the 2019 live-action film version of The Lion King.

Beyonce will voice the character Nala, the love interest of Simba, in the new film.

John told The London Sun that he's going to help remake classic "Lion King" songs such as "Can You Feel The Love Tonight," "Hakuna Matata," "I Just Cant Wait To Be King" and "Circle of Life."

John and Beyonce will work with lyricist Tim Rice on a new original song that will play during the end credits, too. John and Rice collaborated on a number of songs from the original "Lion King" film.

Weve been speaking to Beyonces people and hopefully Tim and I and her can cook up something, John said.

John didnt mention the songs title or what it will be about.

The new films cast will include Donald Glover (Simba), James Earl Jones (Mufasa), Beyonce (Nala), Chiwetel Ejiofor (Scar), Billy Eichner (Timon ), Seth Rogen (Pumba), among many more, according to the Deseret News.

It is a director's dream to assemble a talented team like this to bring this classic story to life, director Jon Favreau said in a statement, according to BBC.

A preview of the film aired at the D23 Convention in July, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The early preview photo showed real-life African landscape and animals. The scene ended with the iconic moment in which Rafiki introduces an adorable young Simba on Pride Rock as Circle of Life plays, THR reported.

The new Lion King film drops on July 19, 2019.

The original animated Lion King drew $968 million at the box office in 1994, according to Box Office Mojo, which keeps track of box office sales and ticket data.
