Joel Burger and Ashley King are getting married this July.

Yes, indeed, a Burger-King wedding is happening. And the Burger King corporation is going to pay for the wedding, BuzzFeed reported.

When Burger King Corporation heard about the happy Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage, a spokesperson for Burger King told BuzzFeed. It felt like fate: They found each other and their story found us to pay for the whole wedding.

The State Journal-Register in Illinois reported that the couple met in kindergarten and grew up together. In fifth grade at an assembly that Ashley and Joel helped with, a motivational speaker pointed out that the two had the Burger and King last name connections. Since that moment, the Burger-King nickname for the couple stuck, the Journal-Register reported.

The two were just friends until college when, despite going to separate schools, they started dating. The Burger-King couple continued to be teased in college with the nickname, the Journal-Register reported.

"We have yet to escape the teasing," Ashley told the Journal-Register, but we have fully embraced our nickname."

It looks like Burger King has embraced their nickname, too.
