Youve heard of helicopter parenting, where parents figuratively hover over their child and watch every move their youngsters make.
Now, we have drone parenting a similar practice, but with a literal meaning.
Chris Early, a father in Knoxville, Tennessee, watched his daughter Katie walk to school by flying a drone over her, according to WVLT-8, a local news station in Knoxville. This happened after Katie asked her father if she could walk to school alone.
"It was something kind of fun to do just to let her know I'm watching her and stuff like that," Early told WVLT-8. But, it's not something I'm going to be doing everyday."
