According to The Wall Street Journal, Musks new startup plans to merge computers with human brains as a way to help the population keep up with technology.

The company, called Neuralink Corp., will embrace neural lace technology, which requires implanting tiny brain electrodes that may one day upload and download thoughts.

Insiders told WSJ that Musk will take a leadership role with the company. Hes also helped set up the company in a significant way already.

This is a bold step for a father of five who already runs two technologically complex businesses, WSJ reported.
