THE WEIRD OUTDOORS If you've ever watched that episode of "Gilmore Girls" where a deer hits Rory's car while she's at a stop sign, you know to be on the lookout for deer even in the most unusual conditions.

The guy in this video must not be much of a "Gilmore Girls" fan, or at the very least, he didn't quite learn that lesson from watching the episode.

This security camera footage out of British Columbia, Canada, shows the unexpected surprise one man got when he stepped out of his truck and immediately got body-slammed by a deer. It's an amazing (and probably terrifying) moment as the deer comes running out of nowhere and heads right for the guy as if he's dinner.

Trust me, the moment is worth watching. And next time you're in deer territory, think of this video and remember, "Vigilance!" just as the man taken down by the deer, Rory Gilmore and Mad-eye Moody all know too well.
