THE TRAILS You might think that like many sports videos, mountain biking videos are a dime a dozen.
But Id wager that there arent many videos of mountain biking at midnight in the midst of spectacular lighting to create both a perfectly ethereal and spectacularly athletic display.
Because I'm a giver that is just the video I have for you.
As the third part of an ad series for Philips TV, three professional mountain bikers and 27 crew members spent three weeks filming several midnight rides, culminating in a video called "Darklight."
Graham Agassiz, Matt Hunter and Matty Miles rode through spectacular locations in southern Utah and the Ewok forests of the Pacific Northwest to make the film, according to the video description, and the results are nothing short of stunning.
Theres no way I can describe how effectively and impressively the video builds into a climax of light and magic, so youll just have to watch it. You may find the video starts too slowly, making us wait for the action to start, but trust me, its worth it.
The other videos in the series includes the skier-based Afterglow and the surfer-based Lightwaves. To see the full credits of Darklight, visit the video page on Vimeo.
