THE PORCH California homeowner David Hernandez got quite the surprise recently when he checked the footage from his surveillance cameras at his home.
The surprise came in the form of Jewels, his 20-pound French bulldog, who went into attack mode when two juvenile bears ventured onto the property. This pup was not messing around as she charged the bears fearlessly.
It blew me away. I couldnt believe it, that she turned into a wolverine, Hernandez told WSBT.
The fact that the bears each weigh approximately 100 pounds each didnt stop the dog. Luckily for Jewels, she had the element of surprise on her side, and the bears seemed more surprised and curious by the dogs ferocity and didnt feel threatened
Instead, they left the property tout suite, and maybe theyll think twice before returning to the Hernandez home.
