ARIZONA There are few things better on a hot summer day than turning on the sprinklers and getting a bit of relief from the intense heat. Even this tortoise agrees.
In what is now my favorite video of the whole year, a tortoise in Arizona was caught sticking its head in a sprinkler last week. According to ABC15 Arizona, the station that posted the video, the temperature on the day this was captured had reached 110 degrees and the tortoise was just trying to cool down.
And I really I can't blame it. I usually wish I could stick my head in front of a sprinkler every time the temperature gets above 80 degrees. I feel like this tortoise has things figured out.
There's not a lot more I can say about this video other than it's adorable and amazing. I love this tortoise and feel like I relate to him deeply, and I think you will too. Enjoy the video and let it take you right back to your youthful days of running through the sprinklers as the hot sun beat down on you and your friends.
