THE STAGE There are two things that will always impress me: immaculately trained dogs and precisely executed choreography.
Ive watched enough TV dance competitions, high-energy musical numbers and internet dog videos to scratch both those itches independently, but I never dreamed that I could do the same with one 23-second internet video.
Well, its both my lucky day and yours because we get to watch a video of a dog named Zion that dances its way directly into our hearts.
I dont know if youve ever seen a dog that skips, but thats how this video starts with a sweet and precious pup actually skipping with an umbrella in its mouth. Then its onto a few precise sashays of delight before Zions dance ends way too soon.
This dog dances 100 percent better than any of my relations do, which is mostly impressive and only a little infuriating. But you can stay mad at a doggo with that face?
With that umbrella, I dont know whether to compare this dog to Gene Kelly in Singin in the Rain or the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins. Ill let you make that decision.
As the video description states, Zion first did his dance in 2009, but hes just now finding his day in the viral-video sun.
