A new selection of items with a back-to-school theme is available at Kohls stores through September as part of the Kohls Cares program, according to a news release.
Hardcover books and plush toys from author Norman Bridwells Clifford the Big Red Dog series make up most of the collection along with a Clifford backpack, a Crayola art kit and Laurie Kellers picture book The Scrambled States of America.
The picture books and coordinating toys include the books Cliffords ABC and Clifford Takes a Trip with a Clifford plush toy, Clifford Goes to Kindergarten with an Emily Elizabeth plush toy, and Clifford and the Missing Beach Ball with a T-Bone plush toy and Cleo plush toy.
Each book or toy costs $5, and the net profits go toward children's health initiatives nationwide, according to the news release.
