Kohl's has released a new Kohl's Cares collection tied to the holidays.
The collection, which will be available through December, features children's books by author/illustrator Nancy Tillman with coordinating plush toys, a Nancy Tillman wall calendar, a "Blake Shelton Christmas" CD, a "Color Me Christmas!" notecard set and a "Holiday Delights!" cookbook.
The picture books and matching toys include "On the Night You Were Born" with a polar bear plush toy, "You're Here for a Reason" with an elephant, "Wherever You Are, My Love Will Find You" with a panda, and "I'd Know You Anywhere, My Love" with a giraffe.
Each item costs $5, and the net profit benefits children's health and education initiatives.
Kohl's Cares "supports programs that benefit children's health initiatives, including special merchandise, a robust associate volunteer program, partnerships with more than 160 hospitals and a fundraising gift card program," according to a news release. The program's website indicates that it has raised more than $274 million since it began in 2000.
