Netflix may be on its way to the Nintendo Switch.

A recent Twitter exchange between Netflixs customer service Twitter account and a Nintendo fan account gave hope to Switch users that the streaming app will soon be available on the Switch device.

Currently, Twitter isnt available on the Nintendo Switch.

The account Nintendo Screen asked Netflix if there is any word on the possibility of Netflix becoming available on the Switch.

According to Mashable, Netflix responded and said there were no plans.

But then Netflix deleted the initial response and changed its mind.

Netflix confirmed the possibility to Polygon.

We are still exploring the opportunity with Nintendo, but dont have definitive plans to share at this time, a Netflix spokesperson told Polygon.

Though theres still no confirmation, the change in response shows that Netflix is still looking to find a way to add itself to the Switch.

Nintendo previously added Hulu to its eShop lineup back in November.

The Switch continues to sell well in America. According to the Deseret News, the Nintendo video game console recently became the fastest-selling system of all time, selling 4.8 million units in 10 months.

The Switch surpassed the PlayStation 2s record.

Nintendo plans to sell 17 million consoles by the end of April 2018. This could push the Switch into the top 10-selling devices of all time. The PlayStation 2 remains the most-sold video game console of all time with 155 million sold, according to The Verge.
