Love Like Violence, a Christian rock band from Ohio, has one goal with its new single Skeleton: help raise awareness for those with eating disorders.
With the help of Project Heal, a nonprofit organization that offers scholarships for people with eating disorders, Love Like Violence plans to donate 75 percent of the proceeds from its new single towards treatment for those with eating disorders.
The song's lyrics are written by Stephanie Spencer, the band's lead vocalist, who had a family member who suffered from an eating disorder.
Its a really edgy song with strong rock guitars and harmonies very reminiscent of Paramore's earlier days, but with an inspiring message, Akil Brown, the founder and CEO of Eturnal Entertainment, said in a press release. The song is an anthem to remind us to love ourselves and to know we are not alone.
