Adrian Bruce Burrows, age 79, of Santa Clara California, died June 12, 2020. He was born April 15, 1941 in Floydada, Texas, to Bruce and Viola Burrows. He is survived by his wife Sharon, daughter Cindy Lorensen her husband Gary, their children Kelsey and Kyle, son Craig Burrows and his wife Cathy their children Ashley and Danielle and sister Sandra Lebsack. His two brothers Larry and Dale Burrows pre-deceased him.
Adrian graduated from Otis Rural High School in 1959. He enjoyed playing football basketball and baseball. In the fall of 1959 he moved to California. He was employed by Lockheed Missiles and Space in 1962, now known as Lockheed Martin and worked there 35 years as a Test Engineer/Staff Engineer. He retired at age 55. During retirement, he and Sharon joined Mobile Missionary Assistance Program (MMAP) for 15 years, traveling the US in their RV working for Christian churches, Christian schools and Christian campgrounds doing construction and repairs as needed.
Adrian’s pastime was sports. He played basketball and baseball for church leagues, city leagues and work leagues. He also enjoyed water skiing, camping fishing and snow skiing and had many limbs injured while having fun.
