Alice Marie Willcut 1930 - 2011

BARTLESVILLE, Okla.— Alice Marie Willcut, 80, resident of Bartlesville, Okla., died June 11. Born Aug. 1, 1930 in Great Bend, she was the daughter of Lowell E. and Elizabeth (Whittig) Willcut. She was raised and received her education in Great Bend, graduating from Great Bend High School in 1948. She attended Kansas City Business College for two years, then moved to Memphis, Tenn., where she was employed with Phillips Petroleum Company until her retirement. She moved back to Great Bend to care for her mother until her death. In 1997 she moved to Bartlesville, Okla. to care for her ill brother.

Ms. Willcutt was a member of the First Christian Church in Bartlesville, Okla. and also worked for the church office.

Survivors include, two brothers Lloyd Willcut of Woodward, Okla. and Lowell E. Willcut Jr., of Wichita; a sister Thelda Jane Adams of Mt. Hope; eight nieces and nephews, Dr. Laurie Ford of Vancouver, Canada, Julie Ray of Stillwater, Okla., Kemper Willcut of Decatur, Ill., Kirt Willcut and Delisa Willcut, both of Wichita, Michelle Miles of Springfield, Mo., Janice Jackson of Omaha, Neb., and Kent Miles of Haven.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Mike McDougan of Comforting Hands Hospice officiating. A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Alice may do so to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 841125 Dallas, TX 75284-1125.
