ELLINWOOD — Alma M. “Pinky” Lloyd, 82, died Nov. 27 at Ellinwood District Hospital. Born April 27, 1932, in Ellinwood, she was the daughter of Edward and Anna Marie Kowalsky Jenisch/Edna Schmidt Jenisch. She graduated from high school at Sacred Heart Academy in Wichita. On Oct. 26, 1953, she married Leslie J. Lloyd in Ellinwood. He died on March 5, 1991. A lifetime resident of Ellinwood, she was a retired bookkeeper for the Great Bend COOP in Ellinwood.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise and Edward Lloyd Bucher of The Woodlands, Texas; two sons, Mark and Lisa Lloyd of Cimarron and David and Dana Lloyd of Ellinwood; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Jenisch.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Father John Forkuoh and Father Terry Klein officiating. Burial will be at the Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood with Altar Society Rosary at 3 p.m. and Parish Rosary at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Church or the Athletic Department at the University of Kansas, in care of the funeral home.
