Anita Marie Phillips, 54, passed away March 7, 2020, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina. She was born on Jan. 16, 1966, at Abilene, Texas, to Claude Darrell and Rose Mary (Wapelhorst) Phillips.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Anita was a daycare provider. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose and Altar Society. She volunteered for many years at CKMC. She loved gardening and crocheting. She especially loved animals, children and writing stories.
Survivors include, her mother, Rose Mary Phillips of Great Bend; a sister, Angela (Phillips) McClure and husband Doug of Sioux City, Iowa; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Claude Darrell Phillips; and her grandparents.
Friends may sign the register book from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday, March 26th and Friday, March 27th, at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2020, with Pastor Lori White presiding. Inurnment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery.
