Anita Sharon Helms, 70, passed away April 10, 2021, at her home in Great Bend. She was born June 29, 1950, at Los Angeles, Calif., to Pete & Bonnie (Hall) McKenna.

Anita was a retired home care worker. She attended Prince of Peace Parish. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, baking, and especially loved spending time with her family. Anita was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. 

Survivors include, two daughters, Deborah Hinds of Great Bend and Patricia (Troy) Satterlee of Manhattan; a son, Cody (Mercedes) Helms of Great Bend; seven grandchildren, Dalin Hinds, Jordan Becker, Walter Helms, Jacob Satterlee, Nikalem Helms, Madison Crawford and Rylan Crawford; and three great grandchildren, Wesley Becker, Grayson Becker and Persephone Leiker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Bonnie McKenna; and a twin sister, Bonita Mead.

There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2021, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorials have been designated to Anita Helms Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
