Anna Lee (Moody) Brack 1931 - 2014

MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. — Anna Lee (Moody) Brack, 83, a resident of Mountain Home, Ark. passed away Saturday, July 26, at her residence.
Born on Feb. 22, 1931, to the late Allen “Boss” and Mollie (Hicks) Moody. In 1949, she graduated from Calico Rock High School. On July 22, 1951, she married Melvin Brack, in Milberger. She taught Sunday school, worked in the bus ministry and served as a hospitality volunteer. She was a waitress for many years at Anglers Café. She enjoyed reading and would read the Bible through many times every year, sewing, crocheting and gardening.
Mrs. Brack was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home, Ark. Within the Asssemblies of God, she was active in the Women’s Ministries and served as a member of the Review Board for the Missionettes. She was also active in Christmas Dramas held by the church.  
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Melvin Brack of Mountain Home, Ark.; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jo Ann Brack of Crossville, Tenn. and Michael’s children, David Brack (Erin) of Niceville, Fla., along with David’s children, Ayden and Ashlynn, Hannah Starnes (Brock) of Nashville, Tenn., Jessica Ruppert (Zac) of Louisville, Kent. and Jessica’s children, Benjamin and Rachel Brack of Memphis, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Janice Renee and the Rev. Larry Thomas of Mountain Home, Ark. and Kimberly Dawn and the Rev. Michael Lager of Fort Smith, Ark. and Kimberly’s children, Madison and Bentley Lager of Fort Smith, Ark.; and many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Mountain Home, Ark. with Pastor Mike Howell officiating. Burial will follow at the Moody Cemetery near Iuka, Ark. Visitation will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home with the family receiving friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks, 701 Burnett Drive, Mountain Home, AR  72653 or the First Assembly of God, 710 Bradley Drive, Mountain Home, AR  72653.
