ODIN — Anna M. Klug, 84, died Nov. 19 at Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita. Born July 23, 1930, in Dubuque, she was the daughter of John and Regina (Schmidt) Werner. On June 4, 1947, she married Leo L. Klug, in Odin. He died on May 28, 1999. She was the postmaster at Odin. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who was all about family. She loved gardening, playing games, and cooking for her family.
Mrs. Klug was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church and Altar Society in Odin.  
Survivors include, eight children, Linda, Phyllis, David (Darlene), Bill (Joan), Dale (Kala), John (Linda),Leonard (Lisa), and Jayne (Brad); one brother, Tony; five sisters, Frances Prosser, Loretta Rutherford, Irene Werner, Margie Carey, and Mary Gilliam; 23 grandchildren; and 41 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, John Robert, Rudy, and Raymond; a sister, Theresa Miller; and a great-granddaughter, Halle Klug.
Vigil service with altar society rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Odin. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Holy Family Cemetery in Odin. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington. Memorials may be made to the Holy Family Cemetery Fund in care of the funeral home.
