LARNED — Anna Mae Dreese, 86, passed away Wednesday March 2, 2016, at Diversicare of Larned. Born May 18, 1929, at Lewis, she was the daughter of Glenn A. and Ada M. Johnson Walker. On Oct. 8, 1950, she married Kenneth Delbert Dreese. He passed away Feb. 4, 2007. She was an LPN at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Larned and CKMC St. Rose Campus in Great Bend, working in the OB departments. She also worked as a private nurse for many families.
Mrs. Dreese was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church and the Larned United Methodist Woman.
Survivors include a son, Donald K. Dreese (Tammy), of Larned; a daughter, Barbara D. Fulton (Ross), of Larned; three sisters, Betty Williamson of Hutchinson, Myrna Wood of Great Bend, Jean Belcher of Salina; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah D. Dreese; a brother Frank Walker; and a sister Mildred Schlaefli.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, at the Larned United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bethann Black and the Rev. Jack Singer presiding. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, with family present from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, at the Beckwith Mortuary in Larned.
