Annetta Jo Schaub 1978 - 2017

Annetta Jo Schaub, 38, died April 20, 2017, at Great Bend Regional Hospital. She was born Nov. 15, 1978, at Great Bend, the daughter of Steven Douglas and Denise Deann (Krom) Lamb. She married Kurtis Schaub Oct. 4, 2014, at Ellinwood. A Great Bend resident since 2000, coming from Ellinwood, Annetta had previously worked for USD 428, as a para-professional, and had most recently been employed as a legal assistant for the law firm of Watkins Calcara, Chtd.
Annetta was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, of Great Bend. She enjoyed her pets, cooking, hunting and fishing, and was an avid Great Bend High School Panthers fan. Above all, she loved, cherished, and adored her kids, supporting and attending every activity and function possible.
Survivors include her husband, Kurt Schaub, of the home; her father, Steven Douglas Lamb of Great Bend; her mother, Denise Deann Lamb of Ellinwood; two sons, Blaine Mermis and Bryce Mermis, both of the home; and two daughters, Brynn Mermis and Lydia Schaub, both of the home.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church with The Reverends Jon Brudvig and Barbara Jones officiating. The family requests casual dress. Friends may greet the family from 6 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials have been established for the Children’s Education Fund or Heartland Cancer Patient Care and Support Endowment Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
