Annette Kruckenberg, 81, died Oct. 9 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. Born July 19, 1932 in Kiefer, Okla., she was the daughter of Otho E. and Eva (Reynolds) Chancey. On April 3, 1965, she married Robert L. Kruckenberg in Great Bend. A resident of Great Bend since 1963, coming from Lyons, she was a homemaker.
Mrs. Kruckenberg was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Golden Sheaf Chapter.
Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Kruckenberg, of the home; two sons, Robert Lee Kruckenberg Jr. and his wife LeAnn of Wichita, and Eric Edwin Kruckenberg and his wife Erica of Prosper, Texas; one brother, Edward Lewis Rensch III of Canton, Okla.; four grandchildren, Adam Kruckenberg, Caleb Kruckenberg, Chancey Kruckenberg, and Avery Kruckenberg; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one sister, Donaleigh Gilmer.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. Burial will be at the Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from  1 to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
