Barbara A. Bobbi Donner 1942 - 2013

Barbara A. “Bobbi” Donner, 71, passed away on Oct. 22, at Cherry Village Residential Care in Great Bend, where she had resided for the past two years. Born on Feb. 3, 1942, in Topeka, she was the daughter of John D. and Blanche (Hall) Mullinix. She grew up in Topeka prior to moving with her family to northern California as a teenager.  On July 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Robert Donner in Paradise, Calif.  Barbara lived in the cities of Paradise, Chico, and Tuscon, Calif., until moving to Great Bend four years ago.  
Mrs. Donner was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend.
Survivors include one son, Robert Daniel and his wife, Tina Donner, of Queens Creek, Ariz.; two daughters, Gail A. and husband, Shane Santy, of Great Bend, and Sandra E. Donner of Eugene, Ore.; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three sisters, Lorraine and husband, Robin Sears, of Petaluma, Calif., Diana and husband, Theodore Thomas, of Eagle Lake, Calif., and Lola Jeanette “Jeannie” and husband, Johnny Ortiz, of Sunnyvale, Calif.  Bobbi was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Donner on Sept. 11, 2001, and one sister Peggy Housman.
