BEL AIRE — Barbara Ann Yetschke, 64, died April 15, 2013 at her home in Bel Aire.
She was born March 29, 1949 at Great Bend, the daughter of Robert Eldon and Betty Ann (Bowsher) Yetschke.
Barbara graduated from Great Bend High School in 1967 and earned a certificate from the Hutchinson School of Cosmetology in 1968. Ms. Yetschke was a Bel Aire resident since 1977. Barbara enjoyed theater and one of her passions was working with Music Theater for Young People in Wichita during the years her daughter Juli was performing. She worked at the Disney Store, Wichita, and was an avid Disney collector, enjoying regular trips to Disney World.
Survivors include a daughter, Juli Sparkman and her husband George Webster, Bel Aire; a brother, Kent Yetschke, Great Bend; and two Cocker Spaniels: Belly Button and Onyx.
She was preceded in death by her dogs, Harvey Trouble and Fancy.
Graveside Service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday at Great Bend Cemetery. Interment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to service time Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorials are requested for the Magnum Fund at Heartland Animal Hospital, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
