ELLINWOOD — Barbara J. Dunn, 77, died Friday Sept. 6, 2013, at her home in Ellinwood. She was born July 24, 1936 at Kingsport, Tenn., the daughter of Leonard and Louise (Frusher) Stairett.  She was a resident of Ellinwood for nine years.  On Sept. 26, 1954, she married Thomas Jack Dunn in Jetmore.
Survivors include, husband, Thomas Jack of the home; a son, Michael W. Dunn, Ellinwood; three daughters, Karla J. Dunn and Vic Garcia, Great Bend, Pamela S. Dunn and Ron Sarnow, Council Grove, Debra L. and Wayne Blunden, Abilene; two sisters, Sandra Stum and Johnnie M. Dingus; a brother, Clair Stairett; nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Preceded in death by a brother Jack Stairett and a great grandson.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jetmore, with Rev. Mark Durham presiding. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery, Jetmore.  Visitation will be on Thursday, Sept. 12 from 3-8 p.m. at Kimple Funeral Home, Ellinwood.  Memorials are to the donor’s choice and may be left in care of Kimple Funeral Home.
