ELLINWOOD — Barbara J. Worman, 84, died May 26, 2016 at Ellinwood District Hospital. She was born June 10, 1931 at Grenola, the daughter of Glen and Hazel Eaglin Neubecker. She married Benny E. Worman June 9, 1950 in Ellinwwod.
She was a resident of Ellinwood since 1950 formerly of Winfield. She graduated Winfield High School in the class of 1949 and was a library aide at the Ellinwood Library. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Grove Park Golf Club, of Ellinwood
Survivors include her husband of the home; three Daughters, Deborah Worman, Ellinwood, Peggy & Monty Enright, Stacey Arehart & Tom Macy both of Manhattan, Ks.; 2 Brothers, Dwight Neubecker, Ft. Worth, Tx., Dwain Neubecker, Wichita; four grandchildren, Scott & Molly Arehart, Benjamin & Shelley Enright, Emily & Ben Johnson, Mark Arehart; one great-grandchild, Bradleigh Arehart; many Nieces & Nephews. She was preceded in death by parents; sister, Shirley Friend.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, June 1, at St. John Lutheran Church in Ellinwood with Pastor Merlyn Lohrke officiating. Burial will take place at Lakin Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., on Tuesday, May 31, at St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood, Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church, Ellinwood Community Foundation or Ellinwood EMS
