Barbara Kay Guerra, 64, passed away on Nov. 22, 2023, at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Kansas City, Kan. She was born on Aug. 11, 1959, in Mechanicsburg, Ohio, to Kenneth Sr., and Nancy (Wilson) Pack. On June 2, 1980, she married Roberto Guerra in Miami, Okla.
A lifetime Barton County resident, Barbara was a homemaker, known for her great cooking. She enjoyed crafting, flower gardening, and attending garage sales. Barbara’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Chai Guerra and wife, Gracie, and Izzy Guerra and wife, Ashley, all of Great Bend; six grandchildren, Ethen, Peyton, Brooks, Teegan, Raquel and Owen; uncles, Al and Keith Pack, both of Ohio; and an aunt, Bea Metz and husband, Steve, of Woodstock, Ohio; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenny Wayne Pack; sisters Joanna Hickman and Patricia Pack; uncle, Keith Stevens; and an aunt, Louise Meadows.
Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 30, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 1, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Daniel Vandenburg presiding. Interment will follow at Golden Belt Memorial Park. Memorials have been designated to the Barbara Guerra Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
