She was a member of the United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, Farm Bureau Association and DAR, all of Larned.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Dryden, Bainbridge Island, Wash., and Tim Dryden and wife Marty, Larned; two daughters, Dina Entz and husband Marvin, Wichita, and Lisa Wright and husband Jess, Sylvan Grove; three grandchildren, Bryan Entz and wife Kristy, John Dryden and McKelvey Dryden; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Heather Entz; and one great-great-grandchild, Gabe Entz. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Bob Williamson.

Graveside memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Larned Cemetery, with the Rev. Bill Fitzgerrel presiding. Friends may call from 1-8 p.m. Sunday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned. LARNED – Betty Jane Dryden-Monical, 89, died Sept. 10 at Country Place Senior Living, Larned. She was born June 16, 1922, in Pawnee County, the daughter of Bryan T. and A. Edna Linder Williamson. On March 1, 1942, she married John Dryden at Wichita. He died July 11, 1995. On June, 1997, she married Ralph Monical at Cimarron. He died Feb. 6, 2009. A lifetime area resident, she was a homemaker and secretary.
