HONEY GROVE, Texas — Bobby “Bob” Joe Frenzl, age 62, of Honey Grove, Texas joined our Heaven Father on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019 after battling cancer. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Honey Grove, Texas. A Celebration of Life is being arranged for a later date in Bonham, Texas and in Claflin, Kan.
Bobby “Bob” Joe Frenzl was born on April 19, 1957 in Hoisington, Kan. to William “Bill” and Mary Ann (Hickel) Frenzl. He was a 1976 graduate of Claflin High School. Bob married Annette (Olson) Frenzl on March 23, 1985 in Great Bend, Kan. and celebrated 34 years of marriage. They had two daughters, Lacey and Whitney.
Bob began his welding career in the Great Bend, Kan. area and traveled before working at PKM Steel for 20 years. He was a very active, social man who was involved in running, hunting, spending time with his granddaughters and traveling on his Harley Motorcycles. Bob was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Bonham, Texas.
His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, clever, curious, charismatic person who gave his opinion whether you wanted it or not.
Bob is survived by his wife, Annette (Olson) Frenzl of Honey Grove, Texas; daughters, Lacey (Frenzl) Wallace and husband Chad Wallace of Granbury, Texas and Whitney (Frenzl) Square and husband Damien of McKinney, Texas; granddaughters, Jada Square and Kennedy Square of McKinney, Texas; brother, Keith Frenzl and wife Jan of Great Bend, Kan.; sister Linda Stokey and husband Larry of Great Bend, Kan.; sister, Kathy Gosser and husband Major of Clay Center, Neb.; brother, Roy Frenzl and wife Lori of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and sister, Connie Stanley and husband Brad of Bella Vista, Ark. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ann and Bill Frenzl and brother, Brian Frenzl.
