SARASOTA, Fla. — Bobby Leon Gitgood, 64, died on Sunday Nov. 5, 2017, at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. He was the son of Betty and Smokey Kramer, and Ben Gitgood. Born Nov. 16, 1952, in Great Bend, he graduated Great Bend High School in 1970, and served his country in the United States Navy. He retired and moved to Sarasota, Fla. in 2015.
He is survived by sisters, Bonnie Maurer and husband Tom of Pine Hill N.J. and Barbara Stewart of Port Richey, Fla.; and loving nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017, at the Great Bend Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
