HOISINGTON — Bonnie Lou Deitsch, 69, died Jan. 3, 2012, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. Born Feb. 7, 1942, in Wilsonville, Neb., she was the daughter of Earl and Evelyn (Martin) Kinne, the second of 11 children. On April 7, 1980, she married Lloyd Deitsch Jr. in Beaver City, Neb. A resident of Hoisington since 2003, coming from Great Bend, she was a homemaker, and a CNA, working at various hospitals and nursing homes, and a child provider for the state of Nebraska. She loved to quilt, specializing in baby blankets.

Mrs. Deitsch was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church in Great Bend.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a daughter, Elea Durr, of Hoisington; brothers and sisters, Peggy Sitzman, of McCook, Neb., Edgar Kinne and his wife Sandy, of Mt. Horeb, Wis., Bryan Kinne and his wife Lois, of Grand Island Neb., Lelia Kinne and Verlie Young and husband Bill, both Nicholasville, Ky., Ginger Cousins and her husband Si, of Kansas City, Kan., Roger Kinne and his wife Joyce, of Williamsburg, Ky., Howard Kinne and his wife Carla, of McCook, Neb., Ken Kinne and his wife Amy, of Pella, Iowa., and Ricky Kinne and his wife Lynne, of McCook, Neb.; and a granddaughter, Ashley Durr. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Great Bend with Pastor Terry Ruebush officiating. Burial will be at the Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may visit from 1-5 p.m. on Friday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home in Hoisington and from 12:30 p.m. to service time on Saturday, at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Hoisington EMS in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.nicholsonrickefh.net.
