GREAT BEND — Bonnie M. Mooer, 86, died April 4, 2012 at Great Bend Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 14, 1925 at Belpre, the daughter of Roy Lee and Maggie Dell (Roby) Peoples. She was raised by foster parents, Ray and Grace Owen.
She married Bennie Mooer Sept. 8, 1946 at St. John. He died July 25, 2011. She was a registered nurse at Hoisington Lutheran Hospital and the Central Kansas Medical Center. Mrs. Mooer was a Great Bend and Hoisington resident most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Janene Lehmann and her husband Marvin, Arlington, Texas; two grandchildren, Todd Lehmann and his wife Julie, Grand Prairie, Texas; Sheri Lehmann, Euless, Texas;  and three great-grandchildren, Storm Lehmann, Sutton Lehmann and Luke Lehmann.
A brother, Wesley Peoples, preceded her in death.
A graveside inurnment is scheduled at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 at Great Bend Cemetery with The Reverend Dr. Doyle Smith officiating. No visitation will be held as cremation has taken place.
Memorials are suggested to First Southern Baptist Church or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
