Bradley Griffin VanderGiesen, was born on Nov. 15, 2021 in Kansas City, Mo. the infant son of Blake and Barbara (Deschner) VanderGiesen. He passed away peacefully with his loving parents by his side at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo. on Nov. 17, 2021. 

Though he was on this earth for a short while, Bradley was a fighter. He endured his short time on earth to ensure that the life of his twin brother, Bankston would be carried on through him.  

Survivors include, his parents, Blake and Barbara VanderGiesen and his twin brother, Bankston Boyd all of Great Bend; his grandparents, Brad Deschner of Great Bend and Gary and Marla VanderGiesen of Smith Center; his great grandparents, Junior and Marideen VanderGiesen of Smith Center; and his aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Karry Deschner; great grandparents, Delbert and Charlotte Deschner, “Butch” and Glynnis Boyd, Barbara Deschner, and Duane and Lucille Kugler. 

A Private Family Service and Inurnment will be held Friday, Jan. 7, 2021, in Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to the Bradley VanderGiesen Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
