Brandon Joseph Funk, 16, died March 28, 2015, at his home in Great Bend. He was born June 2, 1998, at Hoisington, the son of Clark LaVern and Cynthia Marie (Schmitt) Funk. He was a junior at Great Bend High School.
He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Great Bend. He enjoyed playing video games, playing outside, playing with Willie and watching television with his father.
Survivors include his parents, of Great Bend; three brothers, Curtis Funk, Raymond Funk and his wife Samantha, and William Funk, all of Great Bend; maternal grandparents Nick and Rose Schmitt of Great Bend; and one niece, Lillith Funk.
Prayer service will be at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 2, at Bryant Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Adam D. Wutka, officiant. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery, Galatia. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
