ST. JOHN — Airman 1st Class Brandon Scott McDonald, 20, died July 11 in Badem, Germany. Born April 7, 1990, in Muskogee, Okla., he was the son of Nick Garcia and Angela McDonald. Brandon was a 2008 graduate of Muskogee High School and a former resident of St. John. He was in the United States Air Force, active duty. On Aug. 8, 2008, he married Britney (Brown) in Muskogee, Okla. She survives, of the home. 

Survivors also include two sons, Alexander Justice and Sean Carter McDonald of Altus, Okla.; a daughter, Hope Alixzandria McDonald of Muskogee, Okla.; a brother, Trinidad Garcia of St. John; three sisters, Isabella Martinez-Haskins, and Shayla and Kyra Garcia all of St. John; father, Nick Garcia and his wife LaDona of St. John; mother, Angela McDonald of Tulsa, Okla.; and grandparents, Forrest and Pat Haskins of Topeka. He was preceded in death by grandparents Modesto and Ventura Garcia.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in St. John, with Pastor Carl Feril presiding. Inurnment with military burial rites will follow at Fairview Park Cemetery in St. John.  Memorials may be given to the USD 350 St. John-Hudson Education Foundation, in care of the funeral home.
