CHASE — Bruce Allen Kilgore, 68, passed away Feb. 27, 2020 at his home in Chase, Kan. Born on May 8, 1951 in Great Bend, Kan. he was a lifetime Barton Co./Rice Co. resident where he worked as a truck driver in the oilfield. Bruce was a Vietnam veteran serving his country in the United States Marine Corp from 1968-1974.

Survivors include wife, Jacqueline Kilgore; mother, Delores Arnold; son, Kristopher Kilgore, Kansas; daughters, Chianna Hemken (Brent), Maria Cavander, Tressure Hardcastle, Charity Jenkins; brothers, Dave Kilgore (Judy), Ronnie Arnold, Harold Lee Kilgore; sisters, Tammy Krom, Gina Krom (Clifford); and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father, Harold Kilgore and infant sister, Delora Leigh.

Memorial service will be 11 a.m., Friday, March 6th at United Methodist Church in Ellinwood, Kan. with Pastor Tom Reazin officiating.  Inurnment with military honors will follow the service at Lakin-Comanche Cemetery in Ellinwood, Kan. Memorials are suggested to the family for expense in care of Minnis Chapel, PO Box 246, Ellinwood, KS 67526.
