SALINA — Bruce Wayne Arnold, 62, passed away Sept. 19, 2015, at Salina Regional Health Center. Born on Jan. 27, 1953, in Wichita, he was the son of the late Shirley Gene (Arnold) Long. He was the husband of Claudia R. (Helm) Arnold. He worked as an over the road truck driver for many years.
Survivors include his sons, Bruce W. Arnold II, and Mark (Rebecca) Giles, both of Salina; a daughter, Deanna Saunders, San Antonio, Texas; three brothers, Duane (Candy) Long, Tulsa, Okla., Arnold Long, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Kerry (Deann) Long, Council Grove; two sisters, Karen (Kevin) Jahn, of Ohio, and Helen (Bob) Modrell, Council Grove; and 13 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.
Cremation has been chosen. A party to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Lakewood Park in Salina. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 8630 E. 32nd Ct. N, Wichita, KS, 67726.
