HUTCHINSON — C. Jo Daniel, 76, died Dec. 2, at her home in Hutchinson. Born Sept. 16, 1937, in Wilson County, she was the daughter of Joseph Henry and Mildred Alice (Ransopher) Allen. She graduated from Chanute High School. She retired as a retail clerk.
Jo was a loving grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed listening to all types of music, reading, working on puzzles, and fishing. Jo was an avid animal lover.
Survivors include her children, Dawn Thomas and husband Dave of Great Bend, Cameron White and wife Rosa, Kim White, and Reb White, all of Hutchinson; a sister, Lorna Roles of Chanute; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Barbara Reiser-Dupree.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date. Friends may sign the book from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Monday at Elliott Mortuary, with family to receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
